People say life begins at 40.
For my friend Baba Hazdi Baba Zain, his life ends at 40.
Yesterday he underwent a simple tonsil removal operation.
Should have been a no-biggie.
But complications arise after the surgery.
As Fate has it, it's Baba's check out time.

Alhamdulillah, I got to bid him goodbye at his funeral today.
There were other friends from 3rd College, UM, too.
All found it difficult to believe how it ended for Baba.
Farewell, brother.
You will be sadly missed.
Your good sense of humour will be remembered.
Sleep peacefully within Allah's love and care.

I am most saddened and rather shocked to learn of the sad news. But there is no such thing as 'mati mengejut'; for Allah has already reminded us that every living soul shall taste death...
so it's not as though you werent warned.
May Allah forgive the sins of our brother Baba Hazdi Baba Zain and bestow His Mercy upon our brother.
